There is a family with 6 children none of which are in a school of any kind, This is Alaska. How long before someone is in trouble? What are our laws?
Dear C Rose: Once it comes to the attention of the authorities if in fact none of the children are receiving any education whatsoever, the parents could face consequences and the children be required to enroll in school. Every state has compulsory attendance laws requiring kids to go to school from a certain age until either they graduate from high school or reach an age like 16.
