A law was passed in 2006 in kansas stating that certin offenses would require felons to register I was sentenced in 2003 of att. 2nd degree murder it was not part of the journal entry or part of my sentence for me to register however the sheriffs depatment has stated that if I do not I will be incarserated. The sherrifs department cannot legally add more consequences to my sentence can they and if not what is the action I need to take in order to prevent from being incarserated for something I was not sentenced to do?
