Since you have a lawyer appointed to represent you, speak with him about how to proceed and what you can expect at sentencing. Because you’ve been charged with a felony, you may not be eligible for a “diversion” program. It’s up to the prosecutor and the judge assigned to your case. You’ll have a chance to speak with your lawyer before the next hearing. You can also talk with your parents about this for support to get you through this ordeal.
