Is wanting to be financially independent and to be independent a good reason for a judge to grant emancipation? If you have a job and a place to go. My mom tends to be verbally abusive and I do want to get out of the house and be on my own but if I pull that card will she get in trouble? My parents would never agree to emancipation and I just want to be independent I am almost 17 but I don’t want to get anyone in trouble
