So I was caught shop lifting today. The item was 7.99 I believe and I’m under 18. I was taken to the back room and had to give the employee (who was a loss prevention worker) information like my address. She made me sign a paper and my mom was already in the mall so all she had to do was also sign a paper to release me. Will I be going to court our should I be worried about the consequences if the item was under 10$ and I returned it?
