I’m 16, turning 17 in a month and I’ve been kicked out of my parents house for like a month well for the summer I was going to live with my aunt and I was going to take a vacation to a different state without anyone knowing but my aunt. Supposedly my mom doesn’t want me to stay with my aunt the whole summer I haven’t talked to her, she’s verbally abusive and I’m not comfortable talking to her. If they find out that I left the state and idk say they report me as a runaway, I’ll be 17 so is there much anyone can do? I was going to file for emancipation but I wouldn’t have parental consent, so it would be hard. I’m just in a sticky situation I don’t live with my parents and do I have the right to want them to leave me alone? With me being 17?
