I have an inquiry in regards to a minor obtaining a marriage license. How difficult would it be to obtain that status as a minor? I’m 17 and my boyfriend of 2 years is 18. We both live in Southern California. I’m well aware of the requirements. My mom is on board with the idea, and is more then willing to sign a request for a marriage liscense. Me and my boyfriend both work and he owns his own apartment. Apart from the legalities, what do you recommend will make this process smoother? What would increase the likely hoods of a court approving our request?
