Good evening,
As you can see my name is Melinda Willis-Webb and well my husband has filed for a divorce on July 16. We have dated since we were in high school and got married when I came back from Washington state. Dated for five years and we are suppose to be married for 3 years come October 20 2015. I will admit our marriage was not always good but it was not always bad. I am going to counseling right now through our church. I am hopeing he does the same soon. He is living at his moms and I’m still living in the place we had together. We talk to one another everyday and he says he still loves me but he says marriage is stressful. Well my question is what is a judge going to do when we go to court on the 15 of next month? The lawyer is did have said that the judge is going to take us both into his cambers and talk to just me and him. Well his mother is wanting to be there but I have heard she can and can’t be in the judges cambers. I really don’t want this divorce we have been through everything and we have a 16 month old together. I was wanting to know if a judge could grant marriage counseling?
