Hello I’m from PA. Recently my employeer accused me of stealing $ and inventory from store and has video evidence. That Friday, he pulled me into office and shut door and starting harassing me and threatening he’s gonna make my life hell if I don’t fess up to a amount I did not take. He said I took 2,550 dollars of items. In my defense, I know that is way off and I only took little things to feed my kids. He said I had until Monday to come up with payment plan. That Monday he said no payments can be accepted, straight amount is needed within a hour or he’s notifying cops. My friend offered to help by check but district gm refused and told me he needs cash only, to me, that sounds weird. Cops notified me on Tuesday, I remained silent until my attorney is present, so I’m waiting on a hearing in front of a very harsh magistrate, if I got some money, will they work with me? My attorney said embezzlement is very hard to prove even with evidence because a video cannot show dollar amount I took. I’m willing to cooperate. I know it was dumb on my part .
