A girl at my schools nudes got leaked and they had police confiscate many kids phones at school but without informing parents or having any warrant or anything. I had wrote a witness statement about what I knew about the event and they lied to my mom an said that I admitted to having her nudes on my cellphone and called it probable calls. I did not admit anything to the police or on the written statement. They still have mine an other kids phones downtown and they said my mom has to go sign a consent form so they can go through my cellphone and look for them and apparently delete them from the device if they were on there. I did not know my rights at the time and they lied on me and I am wondering if there’s anyway to get around it or if I should let my mom sign the form? Help asap please and thank you.
