I have a couple of questions. 1. My school has hired a company to spy on our social media account. If you go to Exhibit A of the contract you can see exactly what they can do – Link to PDF Contract: https://optoutorlando.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/ocps-snaptrends-contract-040615.pdf
Is this legal?
2. Is it legal for students phones to be searched by the school? The search includes photos text messages, and kik messages that are meant to be confidential in between me and my parents. I would think it is not because if the school can not search your parents phones without a warrant then they should not be able to search your because the student does not own the phone it is your parents.
