I am 17 and would like to know if i can make someone pay for damaging my cell phone. While at work, a teenage co-worker, walked up behind me, in an attempt to “scare” me, and made me drop my cell phone in water. She apologized and said she would pay for it. we agreed on $150 to cover the cost of the deductible for insurance. it has been almost a month and she is now saying she isn’t going to pay for it. is there anything i can do legally to make her pay the $150?
