In my school their is this kid named Ethan. I touched Ethan on the top of his head the other day and he turned around and started punching me in the face. He later went home and told his parents that me and 10 other students were bullying him. Now his parents might take us to court and press charges. I’m scared because I am only 15 years old and on the Baseball team and don’t want this to ruin my life. Will He win the case if he does ? I didn’t even do anything other than touch him on top of his head to get his attention and got punched in the face. Is that assault? Is he allowed to do that? That’s what my principle says. I’m terrified because I don’t want to go to jail or be kicked off the Baseball team because he had built up anger and decided to let it go on me. In my opinion I think that he didn’t want to get in trouble for punching me so he went home and told his parents that he was being “bullied”. What do you think? Please help me do you think i’m going to jail because that’s what my principle makes it seem like.
