Judge Tom
It depends as to the circumstances and why the parents filed paperwork in the first place. Most likely, only one court has jurisdiction over the matter if the parents filed concerning the same issue. If juvenile court has jurisdiction over a matter, then the municipal court is not also going to have jurisdiction, so the case in that court would be dismissed. You could contact each court or look up jurisdiction matters on each court’s website to have a better understanding about how jurisdiction works. Good luck.
