Judge Tom
First, you need to find out whether there is a sexting law in your state. Click on the previous link to find out more. The situation you have found yourself in sounds like it could be considered “sextortion” and since you are being blackmailed, it’s unlikely that you would be arrested or even face any legal consequences, but the laws of your state do come into play. Ultimately, you need to talk to a trusted adult whether it’s your parents, a teacher, school counselor or friend’s parent, please let someone know what is going on. They can help put an end to the blackmail and any other misconduct. Good luck.
