Hello,
Yesterday I was caught trying to steal two cheap pairs of earings, total retail value of $33. The police were called and my name was taken down. I told the officer I did have the money to pay for the items, and he told me I would not be going to jail and will more than likely have to do a Diversion Program. I have a perfectly clean record. I was banned from the mall for a year, which will not affect me too much, however I’m very nervous this could potentially affect me leaving the country in early March. Essentially, how long will my diversion program last? I can pay fines without my parents, but I might have to tell my parents to cancel the trip if it turns out I can’t leave the country by then.
Thank you,
Amber
