I am 15 and accidently broke my friends phone (iPhone 5c) in gym class and her parents got her a new phone 2 days later but are insisting I pay for the old ones screen. My family refused and explained if you let your child take their phone to school then it has a chance of getting broken and what not, well now the family is threatening to press charges for “damage of property,” could I get charges pressed?
