My question is regarding reasonable suspicion. As a school principal, if a staff member approaches me and says that she thinks a student has smoked pot. When asked other teachers about his behavior inconsistent feedback was received. However, when talking to the student he does have red eyes and smells like aftershave (a known disguise of pot smell), and his hands shaking.
Does that give me enough reasonable suspicion without violating his fourteenth amendment right?
