I’m 13. Don’t I have the legal right to protect myself from verbal/mental abuse!
Divorce decree-joint custody-at dads every other weekend- mom was just granted A year full restraining order against my dad because he assaulted her his court date for the actual assault is March 3 . My mom said order of protection was just for her even though the judge heard my dad verbally assaulted me at that same time by calling me A bitch and telling me to shut the f— up he’s remarried and even his new wife tried to lie and my half sister they now have was also screaming and crying asking him to stop . my mom said she was going to try to get modify K Chin of custody hopefully after he was convicted of the assault he has received a citation to appear in court . I don’t want to get my mom in trouble she knows he’s a meanie and now I’m afraid of how bad he will treat me when I’m forced entrapped to stay over there this weekend and two days . My mom has called everyone and tells me it’s really up to a judge can you help I don’t want to go over there at least until after the assault trial my mom told that to child services but I think they closed the case . I have a phone but he always takes it away from me I’m ready to talk to a judge if they will let me so I can tell them about his temper so what he has it hit me but he screams at everything at everyone including me all the time my mom said lawyer said not a crime to be an a—— she keep saying verbal abuse is a crime I’m not scared for my life but as my mom understands it he could just keep me and not returned me. The police say they can’t do anything call your lawyer but and voyeur says call the police any suggestions
