Four days before my wedding (almost 9 years ago) my fiancé walked in with a pre-nup agreement that he said I had to sign. I took it to my attorney and she said that it needed to be changed significantly because he would get EVERYTHING if we divorced. I took it back to him and told him what she said. At that point he gave me the phone and told me to start calling 400 guests because the wedding was off. He walked out and left me crying. Later he calmly came back and admitted that it was very one-sided and unfair but the attorney was on vacation and unable to see us until after the wedding. He promised we would go then. I foolishly believed him and signed it. The meeting with the attorney has never taken place despite my many requests. Now my worst nightmare is playing out and we are divorcing. Will this document hold up in a court of law?
