Today I went grocery shopping with my kids I took a pack of muffins half way through my kid asks for one…no big deal so in open it to give him one as I’m going to buy it anyhow…after giving him one noticed it was dry n on its expired date so I left it….I cash out everything n then I’m stopped by store security…take me upstairs n start telling me that I’m being held under under arrest for theft….I’m like I’m not a thief…as time goes on he starts to tell me that he’s gonna call to see if I “qualify” for a program to be let go with out police involvement….I clearly qualified cause I don’t steal…as time goes on he tells me I’m not charging u I’m giving u a cautionary warning…he took my id photocopied it took name bday height n weight n my numbers….said they are not pressing charged but I have to pay some kinda fee…n that the store is giving him the power to reduce the fine from 500 to min of 300…I told him I can’t even pay that
..long story short he said ur not charged n he didn’t make me pay anything he said I’m letting u go….my question now is who did he call so I can qualify, secondly the paper I signed was for the fine in which he just said forget it..can u please clarify what to make all of this…again no cops were imvloved
