My fiance was caught selling weed and he did the time already, recently he was caught shoplifting and paid for probation for one year. We, however have decided to leave the country for few years and volunteer to work in Africa. They told us we would need police clearance form to get permits. My record is clean but my fiance is on probation. He spoke with the probation officer and said he should turn himself in and can do the time and he can leave the country. My question is, will the police give him a clear report that would allow him to apply for a permit or will the report include the misdemeanours he has committed? Thank you
