So I know someone who was placed on probation back in 2011 for 18 month for a misdemeanor theft charge. And if the messed up they would be serving a 7 month stay and imposed sentence with Huber for childcare release. Now this person is a single mom of 4 small kids ages 5,4,2,1 and is pregnant with her 5th child. Father is not in the picture at the moment due to stuff going on personally with him. So before she was transferred to Huber the kids were with her 65 year old grandma who did not watch them properly and safety was a major issue. ( She old and was major heart problems can’t handle all those kids so young ). So the person who got Huber had no way of getting back and forth everyday also so she was going to end up losing her Huber. So the first day she ended up getting it the one friend she has picked her up and took her to her grandmother house. She couldn’t find a ride back to Huber and she told this to Huber. They said if she didn’t come back it would be a escape felony h charge in Wisconsin. So she ended up staying at her grandmothers. Her grandmother told her she would have to take the kids from there because they are stressing her out to the point she would have to go see her doctor because of how she was feeling. ( She was locked up 3 weeks before getting her Huber release ). So now she has no one to help her at all she’s living from hotel to hotel with the money she had saved from her car being totalled out. She doesn’t know what to do. Her kids means the world to her and now she is facing a felony h charge for not returning. She has never been convicted of a felony only a misdemeanor. The warrant is under the misdemeanor charge and the escape charge is filed with a bail of only 1,000.00 what would happen? How much jail time could she do ? Could she just finish serving her 7month sentence and get probation on the escape charge? Could it get dropped or lowered? Please help
