Is it neglect if your parents don’t know about the situation but someone reported it as neglect ? My 13yr old sister told us that she went with her friend’s mother to the doctor to check if she was pregnant. my sister told us the exact date when she went to the doctors and my mother remembered it was the day my sisters friend mother had called my mom to ask for permission to take her to the mall with her daughter when in fact she had lied to my mom and took her to the doctors. Isn’t that wrong? Couldn’t she have gone and told my mother the truth instead?
