My pawpaw took out a loan of 3,200 dollars, so that I could get a car. He took out this loan before I even got the car or anything. My name is the only name on the tittle and he is saying if I do not send him my tittle, he is taking me to court for fraud. I’m 18. I’ve tried to pay him and he declined, my grandmother sent him a check, to which he sent it back. I have proof in writing where he is saying he sent the check back and will not accept it without the tittle in hand. What do I do? I don’t want to go to jail or something just because he will not accept my payments? I’m supposed to pay him each month so that he can pay his loan. My name is not on any of the loan paperwork what so ever. Help?
