Hi I’m 19, recently stole a nineteen dollar and change item from t a * g 3 t. It was my first time. Its been 6 days since it all went down.

They took me to the back signed a paper that said what I did. Said they might bill me in the mail for employer time and stuff like that. Then they let me go saying they would not involve the police. When i left the store and drove away I noticed a police car about a block away turn onto the same side rode I turned onto with no cars between us. Soon he pulled over though without getting very close. Do you think he was getting my plate and they are charging me criminally? If so will I get a call from police, a summons or a warrant out? I am worried about if they can’t find me, not because I’m hiding but because I stay mostly at friends houses. If they show up at my permanent address but don’t get me will they leave me a summons order for court? Will they show up at my old job that I just ended a few months ago looking for me? I’m scared that ill get pulled over one of these days and arrested and they will tow and impound my car. Can I look up if there is a police report on me or can i find it if I run a background check on myself? I’ve been looking 3 times a day at the court website to see if I’m on there but would it even show up this soon?

I am so embarrassed and ashamed at first cause I was caught but now I realize how much damage this does to regular consumers. I am going to take extra measures to be a better person inside with everything in my life going forward. This whole experience has really helped change me.
