Should I sleep shirtless like my roommate?

We’re freshman college students (guys), and he has slept shirtless every night while I have slept in a tshirt. It’s hotter now though, and I’m tempted to not wear a shirt, but I’m very shy. Do you think he’d notice and think it strange if I started sleeping shirtless?
