I am currently order to pay a certain amount and Child Support. I have my child 50% of the time. It was very tough for me to pay the bill so I picked up a second job working afternoons and evenings on the days I didn’t have my child. My ex caught wind of the second job, waited one year and then took me back for Child Support. My support order doubled. Now I am back to struggling to pay the bills. I’m currently looking for a third job or another way to generate a little more income to get by. Is there no way to get ahead once you have a child support order? It seems it doesn’t matter how hard I work or how hard I try to earn a little more money that she is just able to take take take. I’m struggling to pay the bills and she’s taking trips to Hawaii. Is there any hope to dig out of this hole or is this just the way life is going to be from now on?
