My 11 year old step daughter has been saying for about the last 2 years that she doesn’t want to go to her mom’s anymore. Her father has majority custody, he and I have always tried to be positive, asking what fun things they did. Telling her she will have a good a time. And her mom loves her and wants to spend time with her. But now I have a text from my step daughter saying point blank “I don’t want to go to mom’s anymore, I feel safer at home with you and dad. Whenever I say I have “fun” here, I just say it, not feel it.” Do we have to continue to force her to go with her mom?
