Hi there, i have guite a few questions. Firstly, if there are such things as children being charged for run aways and parents being charged for abandonment ? Also if a minor becomes pregnant is she emancipated? And how old do you have to be to become common law married in Alabama? I was on an attorneys web site and he said you had to be 14 years old. And also if i was dropped off at my fiances house about two years ago, would that be considered abandoment? I also need to know if my parent would still have custody of me or if i am emancipated? And i had to support myself this whole time, I had also been doing all of my legal things and hospital visits and appointments. Plus caring for my child. Also i had moved out of that state to get help from some of my fianxces family, could i do that? I have talked to social workers and attorneys and they have been telling me that this is all okay to be doing, are they wrong? If I had no idea will i be in trouble for these things? And is there any way for ny fiance and his family get in trouble? What should i do? I want to be able to raise my daughter and be with my fiance. My mother neglected me when i lived with her and my father abused me. What should i do? I’ve been fine on my. own for about two years and all of the suddon apparently my mother is pressing run away charges on me? I’m not sure what to do now or if I have accidentally caused a lot of trouble for me and my family. But she just dropped me off and never got me again. She also told me that she was pretending i was dead and that she was “done” and that she “won’t stop this time” and I didn’t know what to say to her. What should I do now? By the way she lives in Missouri and I am 17 in two months and a.few days. Thank you so much for your time.
