I’m 15 years old I will be 16 in April, I ran away from home 2 times because my at home life with my dad and his girlfriend is terrible, that’s obviously why I did leave. The first time they found me at a friends house and the second time they found me at my boyfriends house. Neither of the two knew that I had ran away until the cops showed up. Those are the only two places where I feel comfortable at and where I am genuinely happy. The second time a cys worker brought me to my grandmothers where I would be staying because her and her supervised got a 30 day plan for right now for me to stay there. The case worker said that my father could not have a say so in the rules that I am to follow right now and he cannot butt in. The case worker also informed us that he signed his rights away to her for 30 days. My grandmother is letting me go out to have fun with my boyfriend and friends And my dad found out so he called the cops reporting that I was missing. Later that night we got everything sorted out to where he ended up telling them he knew where I was and he knew that I was not missing he just did not want me with all those people and they told him he could not make a false report. He also said he’s going to put a restraining order on my boyfriend and I don’t know what I can do to prevent that because he’s never abused me physically or mentally and he’s never done anything to my family he hasn’t even met them yet. They have no reason to not like him besides the fact that I ran away to him but none of them had no clue that I ran away. They don’t like him because he makes me happy. My sister heard them talking about it. So I don’t know what I can do to get permanently placed with my grandmother. I mean I come home I have that trust with them that they know I will come home my grades have gotten better since I’ve been here.
