can I throw someone out and trespass them from my property without my wife agreeing to it as a co-owner of the property? My wife and I wanted to help a friend of the family who was having a rough time of it (or so she claimed) living with her mother. She is 18. We let her move into some unused rooms in our house. She has become increasingly disrespectful to me and recently downright aggressive. She doesn’t want to follow the ground rules we laid out when we agreed to let her live in our home. She speaks entirely inappropriately around my younger boys, and thinks she can come and go when she pleases, disturbing our household and my sleep (I get up at 4:30 for work) I recently spoke to her about not leaving lights and television all night when she is sleeping, since she doesn’t pay any bills. She jumped up and got right in my face and started screaming and cursing at me. I refuse to be treated that way by someone who I am supporting…by choice I want her out… but my wife wants to keep giving her more chances because she’s fallen for her sob story completely. can I throw her out without my wifes consent?
