Hello, My name is Janelle & i am 16 years old. My question is relative to emancipation… I want to be emancipated, but i have an issue. In Ohio, emancipation is legally available, but the only catch is you either have to be married, or be accepted into & have joined the military. Through a courts petition is the only validly possible way that i could do so & I highly don’t want to wait 4 years to begin my life. I have a very intelligent and a very personally painful reason being for it. Anyway, i was curious if i had a great lawyer, well enough evidence, and a nice discussion with my judge or whomever if maybe i could have any luck. Or even what i could do to accomplish my desired achievement(s). I am a very mature, intelligent, goal-oriented, and a very hardworking young woman. Fully capable without a doubt to live on my own, and support myself while taking care of all of my responsibilities. I’m really looking forward to your reply, and I’d greatly appreciate the help in your favor. Merci, & bonne journée. Xoxo.
Sincerely, Janelle.
