I live in Arizona and I was just made aware tonight, my friends girlfriend of 11 years, downloaded a spy software to spy on his phone, from her phone. Evidently, she has been doing this for a month now. My friend age 30 and his girlfriend age 25 are not nor do they plan on getting married, but have been together for 11 years. He doesn’t want to be with her because she is very emotionally, verbally, and financially abusive to him, their son, her mother (the mother lives with them). He pays for everything, yes even the phone, she doesn’t pay for anything nor does she want too, because abuses narcotics and has a gambling addiction. I have reported to social services her behavior and I have not received any call back for even well fare check on my friend and his son. He also owns the phones to which she is spying on with. What are the laws in Arizona for this? Is she violating my 4th Amendment? What can I do? What can he do? What types of federal laws is she breaking? Any direction and help would be very grateful
