I was given a governors pardon in the state of South Carolina for felony I was convicted of in 2003. I received my pardon in 2008 and in 2012 I pulled over in Tennessee for a traffic violation. I was shocked to learn the officer knew of all my charges for my felony. I was under the impression that my records were to be sealed. Can please tell me what the pardon does for me and if did seal my records. Thank you
