I’m Samantha Michelle Penton. I am 15 years old. I was born July 31st 2000. I am currently living with my dad. He calls me stupid and fat, etc. I started cutting, overdosing, and stopped eating about a year or 2 ago. About 7 months ago I stopped it all. But a couple months ago close to the beginning of the year I was so depressed and wanted to live with my mom. I told my dad this but he screamed and cussed at me and called my mom trash so I told him everything he’s done wrong before. He got mad and took his belt off and started hitting me really hard I started screaming and kicking at him so he grabbed me by my ankles and lifted me up and started hitting me with his hand he picked me up and threw me across my bedroom in which I landed on my younger sister Shai I split my lip open because when he threw me I bit my lip on accident he then picked me up again and I hit my head on the ceiling bc me and my 2 other sisters share a room in and attic space which is shaped like this /\ and the ceilings are low he started dragging me down our metal spiral staircase in which I hit my foot and I had to walk with hurt toes for the next 3 days. I was still kicking and screaming so when he finally let go of me I sat crouched on the kitchen floor and cried he took his handcuffs out and tried to put them on me but my stepmom stopped him. He had to go to work so he told my stepmom to deal with me so she had to go to work to so she made me pack a bag and took me to the hospital at riverside where she worked and outside the room I was in I could hear her telling the dr how I was trying to overdose and that I was doing drugs which wasn’t true all I wanted was to live with my mom but then she started telling him how embarrassed she was like really that’s what ur worried about?! So they did test in me and asked a lot of questions. And they made me change into theses thin blue hospital clothes and then around 12:00 am a sheriff came and took me to New Orleans to metal hospital at children’s in which they asked lots of more questions and did more test. I stayed there 7 days. How can he still have custody after all of that?! How!!!???? He’s a terrible father I’m scared and idk what to do. Please can u help me????!!!!
