My boyfriend was trying to follow someone into my apartment complex without having the gate opener. When he went through, the gate closed on him and damaged the gate (no damage to his car). They found his car and put a note on it saying that he needed to come to the front office or they would file a police report. Can they fine him even if they don’t have proof that he was driving the car? what can happen if they do file a police report?
