Hi Judge. I am 18 years old living in the state of Louisiana. I was a good student with a 4.0 and about to go to college in the fall. I’ve gotten myself into trouble after graduating in the past two months. I was charged with minor possession of achohol and open containment one night at a party. No drivers license but I was a passenger. And the second time I got in trouble for shoplifting and because a 16 year old was with us participating (I wasn’t aware of his age) I had also got contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Those charges are the two I want to get off my record, is there a diversion class if I plead guilty for the first two I received at the party. I also got advice to take an online course for shoplifting and it would be good to show to the judge when I go for court the second time. I have not gone to court for neither yet.
