My question is, are you allowed to lie via omission to a judge? If say a judge is trying to ascertain information regarding something that happened, and you purposely withhold information that would be critical to the judge’s ruling, could you be penalized under 4.8. Unsporting Conduct — Cheating for “lying to a tournament official”?
