My friends went out last night and I was with them as their DD. I got pulled over last night for not using my headlights, I just got the car so i didn’t realize they weren’t on. He said that he smelled alcohol so he asked me to d a sobriety test and i did all of them and passed them and then I blew and i blew all 0’s because i don’t drink at all. So after i passed he asked me how i got into the bar bc the age limit is 20 to get it and i’m 19 (20 in 2 weeks), and i used a fake ID (my friends ID) and i told him that. so at the end of all this he gave me a ticket for being at a bar underage and using a fake ID. the only reason i was in the bar was to watch my friends and make sure they’re okay and safe and not drinking too much and being stupid. i did not drink at all. would i be fined a lot of money still if i explain that to the judge on my court date? please help.
