2 months ago i went into a agreement with a young man who was into music, and was heading out to Atlanta ga to make it big. me and him had a voice agreement that i would help him along the way and that he would reimburse me for the money i spent on him. also int he i was to go to Atlanta with him , when we got there i had to buy him recording equipment about $2,000 worth, and also rent a apartment for him. about two weeks ago he basically forced me out of the apartment by force and claimed he was going to pay the rent and electricity. But he wont and i have called him (i went back to Texas) and he has threaten me and still refuses to pay. Also dispite me not working with him he is still using flyeres and such that i created and that have my name on them to promote himself. i honestly think he was using me to get what he needed. my question is , can i file on him and since we are in two different states and his permanent address is in Texas and so is mine what state do I file in?
