My question is about the emancipation process and how that works for me. I am 16 years old and a junior in high school at West Albany soon to be South Albany. My parents are unfair in the way they treat me and my siblings most of the time and I’m fed up with it. I was 10 seconds away from getting in a fist fight with my adopted dad because he was slapping me around (metaphorically) and getting up in my face when he knows I absolutely hate it. I wont be able to last another 2 years living under the same roof as him and I need out. He caused my depression and was the cause of self harm… I need help on this, I dont know what else to do.
