My neighbor in illinois outside city limits let one of his friends fire his shotgun on his property. He did not advise him what direction to shoot and three bullets damaged my home. I would think the homeowner (neighbor)would be liable for the damage and repairs first and foremost…His insurance company said it may not be their responsibility since the friend was not told by the homeowner which direction to shoot his rifle. Who is the immediate liable party for repairs?
