Dear Judge Tom This is my question…A tenant in my home was asked to leave apartment was in my basement short time as a favor for a person that was evicted from an apartment ..I said she could stay in my finished basement for a month and she promised to leave.and find an apartment..when I told her she had to move because she was not allowed to stay it was for a month…she said i don’t want to she became very threatening and said you have to evict me…I had to hire an eviction attorney ..as a result she called the town and an inspector came and gave her a warning…her husband that does not live with her showed the inspector all around my property in the apartment and outside she was not with him security cameras have him on film.with inspector. is this trespassing ? he does not live here I told him to get off my property because he was trespassing he came back again and again which i told him not to come on my property he laughed at me and continued to come back..he left property damage in my home and took objects and left damage in the walls. Can I sue him for damages, trespassing and taking things from my home?
