I am curious of my rights as a tax paying resident of Michigan and a citizen of the US. I would just like to know where to look or penaps someone can explain to me my rights in concern to visiting/observing a local high school during school hours. I am a graduate of this school and 22 years old. I have been told in the past that I must have a genuine reason to be at the school and if not I must leave. I am not looking to hang around but isn’t it my right to visit and observe the school while in session? Parent of a child enrolled or not, do I have no right to enter and observe the campus? Thanks!
