My daughter is in middle school and had been bullied by a boy and he threatened her not to say anything or he would beat her till she couldn’t talk. On Friday the. Kid started yelling at y daughter telling her he was gonna rip her teeth out of her mouth, and my daughter tired of him told him some bad words. Well some girls went to the counselor and reported the incident, I happened to stop by the school and I then was told all this. Well they want to give my daughter one day lunch detention for her choice of words to the boy, and they will not tell me the consequences the boy will have. My daughter is so scares he will do what he told her she hasn’t gone to school, but now the assistant principal says she has to go back to school or they will have to issue a court date for me.
Since the boy never actually did what he threatened her with there is no law broken, no charges can be filed. I need help advise please help.
