I spent 130 days in prison for 4 duis in under a year. Upon release, I received 3 years probation. Stayed sober a full year and had a relapse. Relapsed twice more a single drink each time (2 positive urine tests) I am sober again now and working extremely hard on my sobriety!!! AA EVERY DAY, Several classes I’m required to take, TASC, CBI, ROPT, as well as dui assesments and classes which are very expensive. My probation officer violated me and took me to jail for the positive urine tests. My question is this: will a judge likely put me in prison?? Or don’t they want to see someone like me continue to WORK on being sober. I’m in compliance in every other way and my probation ends October of this year. I’m terrified a judge is going to send me back to prison for the relapses. But punishment is t going to help me–the program of AA is what keeps me sober now.
