Hello. My daughter has been threatened at school. She was #2 on the hit list. He said he was going to kill her. He also threatened to blow up the school. This child has a serious mental problem history in his family. They were going to send him to ALC, which is connected to the high school. They ended up suspending him for a few months, after several parents complained. They said he would be out of school for the rest of the year. He is now in ALC, and I am concerned. I was basically told by the SRO at the school that they had evaluated him, and it was his right to be able to come back to school. He will be in ALC for the rest of the year (supposedly). But, what about next year? I have went to try to get an order of protection against him on behalf of my daughter, but they stopped me. The SRO basically said if I wasn’t happy with the decision, I could take my daughter out of the school. They keep telling me about his rights, and I think my daughter’s rights have been ignored. I do not know what to do. I don’t know if they filed charges against him, or even if they can. I need help. Thank you for making this website!
