Hi I’m from SC and I have a question about runaway laws for 17 year olds. I know it’s illegal to runaway but since the person is 17 and an adult in the eyes of the law, will they be forced to return home? Or will they be allowed to stay at the location they are? Also if a 17 year old helps another 17 year old runaway by allowing the offender (runaway) to stay at their house, is that an offense? Thanks in advance!
