Our son was visiting for the night when he passed away from fentynol & heroin. When the coroner came the police took all my sons posessions, his cell phone,Microsoft Surface Pro, any money he had and his backpack. Our son wasn’t under arrest and never had any warrants out for his arrest. I understand using heroin is illegal but why take all his things when he was already gone. There were family pictures on his phone and laptop that we would like to have. Will we ever be able to get his things returned ? We are still in shock and heartbroken. Police said they didn’t find anything on his phone or computer that would help in finding the dealer or anyone else. Why would they need to keep his things ? Thank you for any information you can give us. Sincerely, Lost Mom
